On the evening of August 9th, Beijing time, at the men's team final of the table tennis event of the Paris Olympic Games, the Chinese team, consisting of Ma Long (an alumnus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University), Fan Zhendong (a 2022 undergraduate student from the School of Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiao Tong University), Wang Chuqin, and Liang Jingkun (substitute player), defeated the Swedish team with a total score of 3:0, achieving a golden victory and achieving China's fifth consecutive Olympic men's team table tennis gold medal! The scores of each match were: 3:2 for Ma Long/Wang Chuqin against Karlsson/Karlberg in the first match, 3:2 for Fan Zhendong against Moregard in the second match, and 3:2 for Wang Chuqin against Karlsson in the third match.
